WGL Soundblaster ProAm Final

    Tonight we see the culmination of WGL’s Soundblaster ProAM tournament. The tournament has panned out perfectly, with the final being a transatlantic battle between TCM and apeX's most recent acquisition in American pro team Collapse.



    Until now, Collapse have been extremely impressive throughout the tournament, surprising many with their ability to perform on British host. They battled through their group overcoming mypressure and Prophecy, subsequently they met a TEC pickup team in the semi-final, sweeping them 4-0 and securing themselves a place in the final. TCM were similarly dominant in their semi-final where they romped myp 4-0. This followed on from the group stages of the tournament, where they emerged from a group consisting of SK, OpTic and TEC's pickup team.

    The winning team tonight will take home $2000 (£1300) with the losers receiving $1000 (£650).

    Maps
    The teams will battle it out over a BO11 series using the following map rotation:

    CTF Bootleg
    SND Arkaden
    CTF Lockdown
    SND Seatown
    CTF Dome
    SND Carbon
    CTF Arkaden
    SND Underground
    CTF Bootleg
    SND Arkaden
    CTF Lockdown.

    The final will be commentated by Rel and Goochy and will be streamed via the WGL YouTube channel at 9PM tonight HERE.

    NOTE: Due to time restrictions the final has been postponed. TCM are currently leading 4-3 on maps. The final is expected to continue at 9pm on 23/07/2012.

    Meh, Collapse will whitewash TCM because Hammers is such a below average player, so it will be a below average game :'(. @Hammers (He loves me really)

    - TCM will win, but collapse will take 2 maps. - called it.

    Ah hell, i always read messages to me like its in a angry voice :), i know him kind of yeah, and btw when you said "talk to everyone like you are best friends with them" i looked through most my posts and literally everyone is a fully relevant answer to the thread or a good OP thread.

    - OT Just noticed how strong collapse are looking in snd, Collapse will take most snds.
