All depends on how fast people sign up, most likely a few more days before anyone signs up, then once a few have signed up more teams will gain some trust. Ill set a deadline once some teams have signed up. EDIT: Deadline in Bellow post.
Yeah, that would be nice, 32 - 64 teams. SIGN UP DEADLINE: Sunday 5th September 2010! 1 month to sign up guys, so hopefully we can get a good turn out.
Have you fully decided yet on whether it's going to be group stages then double elim or just double elim. Group ones drag on for ages and people usually don't play the set number of matches on time even though it's for money.
Not sure, I'm thinking a group stage for round 1 then the rest of the tournament double elimination, this meaning teams get to play a good amount of matches for there money, but it doesn't last for too long.
Group, 4 teams, play each team in your group once over 2 weeks. The double elimination. That would'nt take as long as double elimination all through, except you get more games.
Isnt that a good thing though? I mean people are paying money to have the chance of winning alot of money and some good prizes. But what about the teams that lets say "are not" as good? at least they'll have the chance to have fun and enjoy which will be a great experience for their money's worth. so I think this will be a sick Online Tournament. <3 Dabzyy
Ye i agree this is my first p2p i am going to enter and the first one as a team. I dont want to play 1 match get raped and loose £20. I want to play 5 games and try and win, all about us improving as a team etc.
1 group at the start with 3 games in 2 weeks will not be any different to just Double elimination all the way. But i'm always up for suggestions as its what the community wants that matters not me!
