    group stages would be best bet. Groups of 4 though. One match a week. Then straight knock out. Double elim drags it on IMO

    no. you could play the group in 2weeks. top two go through. 2 knockout games a week = 4weeks all together.

    Tournament will not start for a short while, until most teams have signed up. Depends on how long it takes people to sign up.

    -

    1 group stage, 4 teams each group. Play over 2 weeks.
    Double Elimination for rest of tournament.

    Thoughts?

    Please post your suggestions on what you would like.

    straight knockout double elim is pointless if your gonna do groups cuz everyone gets to play their fair share of games then straight knockout means more meaningful matches and less time.

    you will get 16 teams for sure. Then you'll just have to convince the newer players that its not a waste of money.
