Seeds and Tournament Format

Single elimination + groups is a massive, massive mistake guys... I seriously can't advise you strongly enough to either just do double elim, or groups + double elim... You're risking ruining it for everyone with single elim

Bo3 groups and single elim bracket, it will definitely get done by like midday saturday. The bracket would be top 16 teams right, so thats like 4 games to the final? I reckon you could be a little more ambitious with this, although I dont know how many stations you'll have. Still looking forward to the event though.

Yeah have to agree with the last 2 posts, groups + double elimination would be the best format for the tournament. If that isn't possible double elimination without the groups would be a much better format, however I don't know how many stations we currently have.

I'm not one to normally make a thing from seeds, but mX 1st, this real?

Surely it should be more like:

1st - Prophecy
2nd - TCM
3rd - mythiX
4th - pMp

With the groups being drawn randomly, your seed doesn't really matter, just whether you're 1-6 to get a top seed for the group draw, 7-12 to get a 2nd for groups etc. So being seeded 3rd rather than 1st doesn't make any difference.

And blame ReL and Goochy for doing seeds lol. But yeah what Oisin said.

Also what first two comments have said, double elim and I think you would still be fine with regards to time.

Lol imagine two top teams playing each other in first round, (prophecy-mythix for example) if one of them loses they would just be dead last?

how much are spectator tickets and your allowed if your under 18 right?

£20 think for spec ticket (for all 3 half days)
