The first real upset of the tournament has taken place, with complete underdogs XTC taking out Infused in the winner bracket in a 3-2 series. Infused battled back from a 2-1 deficit, winning the 2nd SnD game 4-3 but eventually fell short on the final CTF against a confident XTC.The victors move onto the next round of the competitionXTC are a team who might be easily overlooked but have proven that they should definitely be treated with respect. Players like Busby, Melo and Dizzy have all proven to be consistently improving players and in a very close series they looked the better of the two teams. All the players for XTC seemed to be on top of their game and a few times we were treated to clutches, particularly during the second SnD map with XTC players pulling off not one, but two 1v3 clutches. While Infused took the final SnD round comfortably, XTC exploded out of the blocks coming into the final map and at the half way mark they held a 3-1 flag lead. They continued this into the second half and with Fizz and Busby playing particularly well, the team looked good value for their win as they marched on in the winner bracket at the expense of Infused.Infused now with a much harder jobFor Infused they now face a slightly different task in the middle bracket. For Swanny at least, this is familiar territory and at ReflexGT4 while playing with Imperial the team to stormed the middle bracket before eventually finishing second. Will Infused enjoy the same success as Imperial did almost a year ago? It's not over yet, not by a long way. XTC - 3 Busby Dizzy Fizz Melo Infused - 2 XLNC Gunshi Swanny T1As always, you can follow XTC, Infused and all the other teams competing at ReflexGT7 here on Decerto. The commentating ruined this match really. Busby 1v4'd and they didn't even realise because they were too busy questioning why they were getting beat by XTC and then for Kerry to say infused might have lost on purpose is just a joke.
kerry talks out her arse tooo much! never liked aspec he talks shit too, before it was lack of ingame knowledge now just rimming. WP XTC @MeLo doing it big x
Not sure most people would consider them T2 on this, people that have watched any of XLNC's streams or the decertolive stream when the were on it know the team lacks any form of chemistry, it's just constant moaning from all the players, and because of that they haven't done anything of note on MW3 yet. Add them having to use a pick up (one that i'm fairly sure swanny can't stand) into the mix that match vs XTC was anyones game.
Wasnt happy about the commentary, You would never hear biased commentating at MLG Well played boys, Well deserved
Should of made Melo and Dizzy stay in RNX haha. Well played boys and ul Infused. Sure they will bounce back though.
I was infuriated at the commentary on this game. Their ability to keep a running stream of semi-bearable chat going is far outweighed by their lack of game knowledge and their biased and ill educated perspective on teams and individuals. Perhaps i'm in a minority, but i've said for a long, long time that you need at least one person who knows the game inside out to be commentating. I couldn't give a sideways fuck whether a-spec had his first orange juice last night.
