OMG guys help me

just bought myself an xbox, was using it for 2 days, and this morning, i went on xbox, then went to ps3, then back to xbox, now, it worked fine, untill i changed from the ps3 to the xbox again. The xbox itself is fine, it turns on and etc, but the hdmi is not working, it works for the ps3 still but does not work. I have the Xbox 360 4gb matte black, and for some reason it aint working. tried it on another tv aswell still nothing..

PLEASE HELP

no hate guys, please, im just looking for help, because it works with AV cables, but when i go on to settings, it wont let me click on HDTV menu, even though my TV is HD, and when i put in my HDMI, the screen is blank, would be nice if i could get some honest help for as it is needed.

Its because the resolution is different on the xbox then the ps3... If u connect your xbox with component cabel (blue,green etc) u can change it. Then just get another hdmi to your xbox and use that on insteed or switching it around.

yeah mate it doesnt work on another hdmi either, but the hdmi cable port cant be broken, as its almost a brand new xbox, and worked literally 10 mins before...

and i dont know how to change the resolution, as it doesnt let me click on hd.

but in reply to both of you, ive heard, people using a hdmi on a ps3, then after it not working ever again on a xbox, so hmm kind of confused here..

EDIT: I do have a warranty though, so ive ordered a Xbox 360 HD AV cable, hopefully that will be able to give me 720p as atm, im playing on 480p and it is shit.

Well I used to switch HDMI cables from Ps3 to Xbox, vice versa... had no troubles...

I think your HDMI port could be broken on your Xbox.

well im going ot buy a new hdmi tomorrow, and im gettting as i said the new xbox 360 HD AV cable, hopefully, i can change the resolution on that

sounds strange but I had an issue after changing from ps3 to xbox using the same hdmi cable - it didn't work afterwards. Was a low budget one but nevertheless it shouldn't cause that.

well ive bought the the AV HD cable, so will just use that, just annoying to be honest, having to play in 480p till it arrives.. reminds me of ps1

Was you switching the HDMI to each console for each time you swapped consoles ? You did swap consoles an awful lot by the sounds of it haha possibly bust the HDMI in the process. Use a HD component cable ? should have one

nah mate, my ps3 is fine with the hdmi.. even used different hdmis, it shouldnt matter anyway as my av hd comes tomorrow, hopefully
