[i45] Loser Bracket Final

After an extremely close encounter with Network, TCM were very much on a high coming into the Loser Bracket final. Their opponents, pMp on the other hand, had lost to Prophecy some time ago and had gone kind of cold in the run up to the loser bracket final.

The match was a bit of a disappointed relative to a number of games we've seen over the weekend. TCM took Dome CTF with relative ease, bagging a decent number of caps in the process. Shades of Prophecy v pMp were already coming out.

The SnD round was of a closer nature. TCM took a 3-1 lead, but pMp caught up and the map went into a final round with the teams tied at 3-3. The final map began in TCM's favour and with numbers up, they saw the round out in relative style. Maxxie's dramatic dive into the middle of the map would have had to be something special if he were to take down the remaining three TCM players.

The final map turned out to be Arkaden CTF. Once again, this turned out to be a closer game, with fewer flags being capped than the first CTF round. A small buffer was all they needed to see out the round and with a stalemate taking place at the end, TCM were firmly in their comfort zone. The clock hit 30 seconds remaining and TCM capped again. It was over. They were in the grand final. A solid first outing for pMp. Unfortunately they have quite a long way to go if they want to bridge the gap between themselves and the likes of TCM and Prophecy.

TCM now face a rematch with Prophecy for the title of the i45 Modern Warfare 3 champions.
