[i45] Decerto Overwhelms

    With the groups well underway, the first match ups between the WGL and Decerto teams are now taking place. Both communities have remained fairly separate and there have been few opportunities for the two to play off so far. The WGL champions, vT were set to attend EGL but later announced they were unable to attend leaving the question remaining how the two communities would fare against one another.

    As the show downs commenced, the results were less than pretty, with Decerto regulars dropping huge numbers in CTF games. A number of matches have already seen double figure flag caps on a single map and the show is just getting started. Some teams are likely to receive one hell of a beating in the group stages.

    For many of the teams though, this is their first taste of LAN action and iSeries offers the opportunity for a lot of teams to catch the LAN bug among familiar faces. The turn out of WGL teams has been impressive, with a number of community teams just turning up for the experience. For other teams, hopefully rubbing shoulders with the best Europe has to offer will further increase their love of competitive gaming, and encourage the players to continue competing on the Decerto rule set. Hopefully they will not be deterred from coming to events like Reflex, BoA and of course EGL in the future after seeing what else is out there.

    It's good to see the new teams here, it was expected that a lot of the news teams would get beaten quite easy however as Mellow said lets hope they get that LAN bug and come back.

    All the top league teams and players from the WGL 4v4 leagues play decerto regularly so teams like Antidote, proTo and Virtual Talent will hold their own against the better teams that are also attending.

    Why is everyone hating on the WGL guys for no reason jesus, Our forum is full of 16 year old faggots who play day in day out 80% of WGL only come on xbox just for the matches they have. Give them a break. Nobody expected them to do well and as soon as they don't people slag them even tho it was fairly obvious how hard it would be for them even against our t32 teams. M.A.D
