Team changes tend to come in thick and fast right after events however with iSeries so close to EGL7, it seems the fast turn around on events has made teams think twice about making changes. One organisation that was missing representation was LiNK Gaming following the split up the team on most people's lips when asked for their EGL7 dark horse prediction. This team-less stint has been ended almost immediately as LiNK announced that they have picked up the former TigerWare roster, the Amateur bracket champions for EGL7. The new LiNK Line Up At EGL7 Not only have the team joined a new organisation, they have also picked up a new player. Departing the team is “Sc0tt” as he is being replaced by another LAN veteran in Sam “Bissell” Bissell. Sam has a series of impressive LAN results, coming second at ECL2 with Royalty and more recently winning EGL4 with Fnatic. Since a disappointing placement with TCM at EGL5 it seems his motivation to compete had been lost, something he seems to have regained in joining this line up. The team hope to be attending iSeries in just over a week. Morgan 'Morgz' Ashurst commented on joining LiNK: “After EGL7 there have been ups and downs, thankfully the good has outweighed the bad. Bissell joining us is a fantastic addition. This in turn has helped us become the new LiNK Gaming team. I would like to thank Sami for bringing us into the LiNK Family.” LiNK Owner Sami 'Sami' Cunningham had this to say on the addition: “I am glad to announce the new LiNK Gaming team as that of the ex Tigerware team. Having known Morgan for a while it all seemed to fit after egl7, with our team splitting and this team being interested in moving over to LiNK.” LiNK Gaming MW3 Morgan 'Morgz' Ashurst Steve 'Mohog' Hartland Jay 'Xanity' Bajwe Samuel 'Bissell' Bissell Please follow Decerto on Twitter for the latest news, articles and media!
