When it became clear that TCM's team captain Hammers would not be attending, it looked like their LAN was ruined before it had even started. As you would expect, speculation immediately began regarding the potential 4th players that the team could pick up. With players such as 'Crookz', 'Marc' and 'Candy' all trialed, it is a very unexpected name that fills the spot. Mak representing Fnatic at EGL4 A few weeks ago we announced that SK's Mak wouldn't be able to attend due to commitments to volunteer work in Ecuador, meaning he would be missing his first EGL event. Due to personal circumstances Mak has come home early from his trip and will be joining the TCM line up at very short notice. In TCM he has the opportunity to continue his run of never placing out of the top 3 at an EGL event and we're sure he'll want to continue that statistic, especially considering the team will maintain their 3rd seed. How will the team gel with such short playing time together? What happens if SK and TCM meet in the bracket? Leave your opinions below. Why didn't Mak just rejoin SK (and then obv MadCat to TCM)? Doubt it would've made a difference for TCM and SK would've had their full line-up that way. Just wondering
especially considering the team will maintain their 3rd seed. I know a few people that won't be happy
Even though I trust this has been arranged in good faith; the end-result is more than baffling?! A top-player playing against his own team/organisation on a major tournament with large sums of pricemoney involved ... Me thinking I have seen it all ... Oh well, GL anyways.
I find it funny how EGL can seed these teams when lesser known teams wouldn't get that so called treatment, to be honest it is a joke how EGL is run sometimes just because it could be a big team vs a big team, how it should be ran because of seeds.
Shocked to say the least, heard the rumours but hard to tell what's bait these days With this community.
I'd be mad If I was a lesser known team as well, I'm just waiting for the 'it's different circumstances' to come out. However If you're going to put a rule up which clearly states If you change a player after roster lock, you lose your seed... then stick by it. It doesn't matter what the circumstances are.
