Coming up to EGL7 in Blackpool there is set to be a host of new announcements, some that will shock and some that will not. This latest line up is no secret if you pay any attention to either the forums or competitive MW3 scene. It is of course the announcement of the latest apeX line up. Since their previous team left the organisation for SK Gaming, some questioned whether they would venture back into the European MW3 scene after picking up Australian side Frenetic Array. All doubts however have been pushed aside with this most recent announcement. The team will be captained by Nick 'XLNC' Ward, arguably one of most experienced Call of Duty players in the world having played since the early Call of Duty 4 days. The new squad around him is also experienced and possess what many class as some of the best talent that Europe has to offer. Alongside Nick there is former Foreign and TCM player Ryan 'Monksy' Monks, former Fnatic and Prophecy player Jordan 'VapeZ' Hadney and former Fariko player Silvano 'Torres' Mombarg. With the entire team having managed at least 2nd place at a major event, you'd be foolish not to consider them as a threat to other top teams. The team will be attending the Blackpool event under the name apeX EU and providing they stick together are expected to compete at all major European tournaments. We expect however this won't be the only apeX announcement prior to EGL7. Team captain Nick had this to say about the new team;"I was originally planning on making a last minute team for EGL7, but after famous had approached me on creating a new apeX squad, followed by Torres asking if I was interested in forming a team with him, vapez, monksy and I thought it'd be a great opportunity to get back into the swing of things and start playing again. There's still plenty of time left to gel as a team and in terms of individual skill, we definitely match the top teams out there - although it only covers a minimal part of cod. All in all, i'm looking forward to playing with these guys and hopefully we can pull off a strong placement at the upcoming lans and most notably, EGL7. Thanks again to everyone in apeX, especially Michael and Domenic for making all of this possible.'" apeX EU Nick 'XLNC' Ward Silvano 'Torres' Mombarg Ryan 'Monksy' Monks Jordan 'VapeZ' Hadney Please follow us on Twitter for the latest news, articles and media!
Half hearted attempt at doing a T1 by Torres. OT: Good to see apeX back, hopefully they can live up to their promises.
