don't think so, would think that ebony/daedric is better (if crafted to legendary + enchants) but dawnbreaker is still a really sick weapon, especially if you enchant it. and it's easy to get.
just make leather bracers i think, all the genreal stores/blacksmiths will sell leather + on random quests kill and collect all hides
this games playtime is crazy. im not even into the main story just done winterhold college and abit of thieves guild a load of random missions and im lvl 21 just enjoying levelling up etc fuuuuuuuaaarkkkkkkkkkkk addict. dno what armour to wear cus the arch mage cloak is toooo sick for magika
Magicka regeneration enchantments is pretty pointless as you only gain 10% of it during combat. Enchant your own duel enchanted stuff with Fortify Magicka/Destruction etc for cheap/free spells I am playing Sword/Sheild orc atm, lvl 33 not even spoke to the greybeards yet! Was finding it hard vs dragons, some just wouldn't land so went Archery aswell, so satisfying Sneak+Archery !
Or just play the main story untill you get (highlight spoiler) dragonrend. I kill dragons in 2 hits(or 1 power combo). Also the game isnt as long as people make out. If you do the significant quests that actualy change the game then its not so long. Alot of the quests are pointless and boring. e.g when you finish the companions guild. its just pointless quests like: Go here, kill this and go back. the worst 1 i had was go to a house in whiterun and kill a bear. took around 1 min to complete. Proper boring.
Ok im on the blood on the ice quest where ur investigating murders in windhelm. right at the end and i went straight to the necromancer and now am supposed to go outside and wait for carlaxto to appear and commit a murder.... he isn't. Think its bugged?
Wait till you all come across Ancient Dragons. Start getting em at level 50, christ they're a bitch to kill. Not so hard when you have 100 Destruction at 0 cost a spell though

tbh the smithing thing you asked is all over youtube, type in "smithing skyrim" and maybe go back and reload, I dont know if it makes a difference but he did say tomorrow night, so 24 hours, maybe it bugged up.
I'm playing a wood elf at the moment, level 44. All I can say is that sneak is OP as fuck. x15 damage with a sneak attack plus a dagger and my gloves give double backstab damage and a daedric dagger. 100 sneak, 100 illusion ( invisibility ). I can stroll through anywhere without getting detected and basically one hit everything
You much have some crazy Warrior stats then lol, for me its about 3/4 destruction spells on Adept. Think once DLC comes out I'm going up to Expert.
you know what the DLC will be? i've heard it may be Cyrodyl and morowen its 2 places of the previous games but thats just a rumour ??
dunno if you already found out how to do this but you gotta complete a quest for a boy that lives in winterhold called aventus aretino. then next time i slept in a bed i got a cutscene to join the dark brotherhood.
