The European Gaming League's 7th event is over in Blackpool after a weekend in what could be described by many as the best tournament to date for the Call of Duty scene. We unfortunately didn't have access to the internet after the final last night due to the EGL technical team having to pack up and our backup 3G wifi dongle deciding it doesn't want to work when we need it most. Optic Gaming on mainstage during the final The final finished in almost identical fashion to EGL5 with SK Gaming taking on the mighty North Americans of Optic Gaming. The only change being the 1 roster change difference with Scott 'Mak' Brass switching out for Josh 'Josh' Sheppard for the British side. The score was also similar as we saw Optic punish an extremely good SK side for every small mistake, winning 3-1 to become once again the deserving champions of the world. We'll have a full review of the event coming out in the next few days with our regular LAN article Good LAN/Bad LAN.
