[EGL7] ApeX.Knockout vs Phobia WBR5 Match Report

The start of day 2 saw the beginning of the really big games, with two quarter finals played 4Kings were awaiting the winner of ApeX.Knockout vs Phobia. Throughout the tournament ApeX have been a bit of a mixed bag, not dropping a map until meeting LiNK where they won an incredibly close series. Phobia somewhat surprisingly beat SK Gaming in the round of 16 and were on a real high, something that team thrive on.

As is often the way with the first games of the day, the clash started off pretty tense. ApeX managed to edge out a stopwatch situation on Capture the Flag Arkaden, however from this point on the game was to take a turn for the worse for ApeX. Once Phobia got up to speed on the second map they were simply to hot to handle, taking the next 3 maps to win the series. As said at the start of the post, Phobia move on to play 4Kings for a place in the Winners Bracket Final whilst ApeX will play the winner of Chemistry vs Infinitus in the losers bracket.
