Following the world's largest Call of Duty tournament of all time at EGL 5 Blackpool, many people were surprised to hear that EGL 6 would take place in Sweden at the home of one of the newest LAN organisations on the block, the European Esports Event. The exclusively Modern Warfare 3 competition was capped at 32 teams and open to anyone on a first come first serve basis. As a result, some have been quick to criticise the low turnout and choice of country. In addition to the EEE staff, Chris 'Mellow' Marsh of the EGL and Decerto is also on-site to help run the event. He talks about the situation so far, Stockholm and clears up any misconceptions regarding the league's first event in mainland Europe. Check out our dedicated EGL6 Stockholm coverage thread HERE!
