[EGL5] Fariko.Dragons vs TEC.Invidia Match Report - WBR3

Another match report from EGL Blackpool as we recap the streamed game between Fariko.Dragons and TEC.Invidia. The first map was CTF on Arkaden which has been causing upsets all day long. This matchup came as a bit of a surprise with Fariko.Dragons struggling against their lesser opponents, TEC. The first side resulted in a draw after both teams continuously knocked on each other’s doors. However in the second half TEC managed to capture a flag, putting them in a 1-0 lead. This lead Fariko.Dragons to put a maximum amount of pressure on their opponents to capture a flag in return. This eventually paid off as they pulled a flag with 30 seconds to go however it was shut down by TEC with 5 seconds to go. 1-0 to TEC.Invidia.

The Second game was to be Search and Destroy on Bootleg and after the madness of the previous game it made sure not to disappoint. TEC went up 3-0 on SND which made it look like they were going to take the match however Fariko came back to tie the game 3-3. This was a tense moment because if TEC won they would have managed to put the 5th seeded team into the loser’s bracket. Alas this was not the case as Fariko managed to win the round, tying the series up 1-1

The final game between Dragons and TEC was to be decided by a game of CTF on Dome. The game started off with both teams showing confidence as they both pushed for flags at every opportunity. However all good things must come to an end and this is precicley what happened as Fariko.Dragons managed to close the game with a 2-1 win over TEC.

Final score: Fariko.Dragons 2 – 1 TEC.Invidia
