Black Ops 2 Multiplayer Breakdown - eSports Perspective

After the arrival of the Black Ops 2 Multiplayer Trailer yesterday, it was only a matter of time before all of the top YouTubers released videos showing us every little detail that the trailer reveals about the game. However, well known competitive Call of Duty commentator Goldenboy released his with a twist and released a video going through the video with competitive gaming in mind. Check out the original Black Ops 2 trailer below:

In his video Goldenboy analyses the pros and the cons that the new title brings to competitive Call of Duty. The trailer reveals to us a few changes that we have never seen in a Call of Duty title before such as the ability to use up 6 perk slots and the ability to change the rate of fire on your gun. However it isn't all good news as the trailer also reveals a few somewhat controversial features about the game, such as the ability to use sonar attachments to gain vision of enemies through walls. Towards the end of the trailer their is a small segment of commentated gameplay by well known MLG commentator Hastro. Does this suggest that Treyarch are finally listening to the competitive eSports scene? Discuss your views below.

It doesn't really matter what perks and attatchments their are seen as we can just take them out of the rule set...

Look crap, I stopped playing black ops cuz it was shit with bad graphics mw3 has the right graphics I feel and the right gameplay still could be improved tho

Same thing every year, people see a 2 minute trailer and start saying it's shi* but always end up playing it. Sigh.

Try and get the ruleset out alot faster than what it was on MW3

aslong as Decerto doesn't rim MLG and tries to come up with the most skillful ruleset from the start it will be fine. unless the maps are just completely shite.
